My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sue, a beautiful girl inside and out. Sue is a VERY sweet dog, with a beautiful bright personality. Sue is, 45 pounds and about 8 years old. She has lots of pet in her step for being 8. She is fabulous with children, and will make a wonderful family pet with many years to give. Sue is a very loyal dog and wants to be where ever her people are.

Sue was an owners surrender as her owner had cancer and as it spread she was bed srickened. After Sue gave her owner many beautiful loyal years living with the only person she knew, the immediate family said she had to go as they didn't want to care for her. Her housemate Man also got evicted is in a different foster home. they are totally fine being apart as they are not bonded.. Man is also with Angels on Wheels and you can find him on our website as well.

Sue is house trained, she is not a chewer, she is fabulous on a leash, she knows her name and she takes direction beautifully, she is great with other dogs, and absolutely LOVES car rides! Sue sleeps with her foster family at night in the bedroom, and she has no problems holding it all night long. Sue is not crate trained, and doesn't want to be in a crate as we think she was never placed in a crate prior so she doesn't know what to make of it. So if you are needing to crate her while you are gone, she is not the right match for you.

Sue is being fostered in a foster home in Oswego around other dogs, cats and being exposed to all ages of children. We are unsure about the kitties. She doesn't chase them, she doesn't bark at them, she just freezes when she sees them...we think she is not sure what to make of them. She is great with kids, men women everyone. She was groomed on August 5th, and as you can see in the pictures, she is loving the bling the groomer placed on her ears.

If you think Sue is the right dog for your, please fill out our Adoption application which can be found on our website at www.angelsonwheels.org. An approved adoption application is required prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

The adoption fee of $150.00 is to help us recover some of the costs of her vetting which includes: Her grooming, the spaying which was done on August 6th, she had her teeth cleaned and 4 removed, she had xrays done which where all normal, she had a senior blood panel done with T4 which was great, she had a 4dx done which test for heartworm and three tick born diseases all four were negative, she is now microchippe, up-to-date on routine vaccination for DHLPP, rabies vaccinated, treated with front line plus, on monthly heartworm preventative, and she had a fecal done which was positive for Giarrdia in which she has been treated for. She will also come with a leash and a collar. Everything has been done for you and for Sue that she can begin her next journey in life. '

Won't you please consider giving this very sweet girl a home? You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free health exam. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
