Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruby is a fun-loving two year old female Lab mix who is waiting for her new family. She's friendly and outgoing like a Lab, but has some Shepherd features. She has that Lab exuberance so a fenced in yard would be ideal for her. She's a really nice dog who lost her home because her owners didn't have time for a dog. She oves exploring and is always on bunny patrol. She loves playing fetch. She loves walks too, but needs a no-pull harness as she gets so excited in the beginning of the walk. She was in a shelter where she got no exercise and was fed a corn-based diet so she was overweight, but is already slimming down in her foster home where there is lots of ball throwing and just running around. She will "chill" outside with you if you are gardening and she's not a digger that we've seen. She is well behaved in the home and is totally house broken. She would be fine with a part time worker, but if left for hours on end she will get into a little mischief. She is a mixed breed dog with some Lab, some Collie, some Shepherd and maybe some Hound. She loves her toys and plays well by herself if you get tired of ball throwing. Inside she will snuggle with her human family and be quite content. Ruby will need daily excercise as she is still puppy in her mind. Don't miss out on this wonderful dog. Ages 10 and up are preferable as she sometimes jumps up to greet you.
