Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tessie is a little 'happy go lucky' lab mix girl who was found in a rural kill shelter. She had been picked up after she was found wandering all by herself. She didn't think she had done anything wrong, just exploring and having fun. Tessie is a 50 lb., 2 or maybe 3 year old, bigger than life girl. She loves everyone she meets and her whole body wags when she meets someone new. Tessie also loves romping and playing with her canine buddies and gets along well. She would probably think that the kitties are playthings so would need supervision at first. Tessie would be considered a medium energy girl and although she loves having fun times, she settles down very nicely in the house or when it is time to settle down. She has a special sparkle in her eyes and you know that she is ready to do anything her person wants to do - from going for a car ride, visiting the local dog park, hiking in the woods, going for a brisk walk or run, running along a beach and chasing the waves. Tessie has not been around very young children, but she would love to have a little bit older children to run and play with and even curl up at the foot of their bed at night. She would be a great fit for any moderately active household and just loves getting all that good girl attention. Tessie would definitely be someone's best buddy. She has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations including rabies, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Tessie does great going in her crate and she is working hard on house training. She also has good house manners. If you would be interested in learning how Tessie could become a member of your family, please complete the online adoption application and indicate 'Tessie' in the notes section. She would love nothing more.
