Pickles's Story...
Little Miss Pickles was dropped off with her brother on a highway in the country when they were only 7 weeks old. They are now about 11 weeks. This very precious little girl has a heart the size of Texas and the will to match it. So why is she listed as special needs? She seems to have some sort of neurological thing going on. As she runs her little heart out to play with the other dogs, her back legs get a little weak and come out from under her. When this happens, she sits for a minute, then gets up and bunny hops to catch up.She is quite the happy beautiful pup you see in the pictures and if you can see past this, you will indeed be adopting a wonderful, full of life and very happy pup.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Plaquemine Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Plaquemine, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Plaquemine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plaquemine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plaquemine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plaquemine paves the way for another one to be saved.
