Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Karma – 2 year old female purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Karma ccame to us from a rescue group which had intervened to prevent her being taken to the shelter. Apparently her owner lived in an apartment that did not allow dogs, so she kept Karma inside her car until the apartment manager told her she couldn’t have a dog living in the parked car either. This treatment seems to have left Karma somewhat needy and anxious, but fortunately she is quite teachable, and in a caring foster home she is learning that calm behavior and compliance with basic obedience commands are the way to get the affection she craves. Karma is very playful and she gets along with other dogs, but she is liable to jealousy over attention shown to them, so she’ll do best with someone experienced in dealing with a dominant dog. An “alpha” owner will enjoy both her devotion and her obedience. At about 20 pounds Karma is a bit taller than the average mini.
