Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginger's Story...
Ginger is a pretty 1 year old hound mix with brindle coloring. According to her foster mom, she is a sweet girl who gets along well with everyone. She is great with other dogs, as well as dog savvy cats. She is very eager to please, so her foster mom feels she'll be very easy to train. She is also housebroken! She is a little wary of strangers at first, but once she warms up to you, you're her new BFF!! She does like to play hard so one (or more) younger and active medium to large dog would be a great match for her!!! She is currently inseparable with one one of her foster fur siblings, and we feel a confident dog that she can continue to learn from would also be a perfect match for her!

GInger is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Our adoption fee is $375. Please note that for the safety of our dogs, we only adopt to homes with fully fenced yards, no electric fence. For more information and applications to foster or adopt please visit gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Sagaponack Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
