Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm Emily but my foster mom calls me Emmy. I'm 6 years old and about 50 lbs. I would make a great companion dog for a single person or couple. What I love most in life is to be with my person, whether you are out in the yard or watching TV, I'll be so happy to hang out with you! I'm a pretty settled girl. I do like to go for a walk or play fetch but I also am just fine to hang out and snooze by your feet.
I am housetrained and cratetrained although I prefer to be in an x-pen rather than a crate, that way I can see what is happening around me. I know some basic obedience like sit, down and am working on stay. I will come very quickly when you call my name.
I would do best as an only dog or in a home with one other young playful dog. I do like to wrestle and play but in the past I have been known to be picky on who my doggy friends are. My foster mom says I have come a long way though. I haven't met any cats so don't know yet what I'll think of them.
I will need to continue to take medications for seizures and for my skin to continue to be healthy. If I take my pills regularly I don't have any seizures at all and my skin never gets itchy either. And I am very cooperative with taking my pills with a spoonful of yogurt.
