My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable and sweetest Wilson was rescued from a high kill north Georgia shelter after first crappy owners dumped them in the woods...but he is making the best of a bad situation after transport to Washington State! Strikingly handsome and super mellow Wilson is 3 years old. He is small for a coonhound as he weighs about 55 lbs. Quiet and super-friendly Wilson is in foster care in West Seattle awaiting the family he is dreaming for. Will make a terrific family pet! Wilson will be ready to be your exercise partner, as he is fast and alert and loves the outdoors. He LOVES kids, has good energy but settles down nicely in the house too. He has good endurance and he loves the outdoors ...he has also taken to and loves indoor living too! He is affectionate and loving, cuddly and wants to be with you. Wilson likes to show off his smarts! He knows his basic commands and walks great in the leash. He is playful and great with others, he greets other dogs nicely on the streets and enjoys hanging out at doggie day care and the dog park. He is quite intelligent as well as confident. Wilson is very affectionate, just an all-around good boy and everyone he meets says so! He enjoys interacting with humans, loves his walks and his people time but loves his doggie friends too. He ignores the kitties and is even good around farm animals with concerns for the cats, chickens, horses or pug in Georgia foster care. Wilson draws attention everywhere he goes- for his unusual good looks and his magnetic personality! Crate trained and house trained, Wilson is used to. And fine with his crate and he rides well in the car. He’s the most even tempered guy who responds well to direction too. He is good on a leash, and he comes when called. He knows his basic commands and is house-trained. Those big beautiful, so soft ears are just waiting to be rubbed and to listen to your every word! Wilson is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and so ready to have a family of his own! Any questions email Brenda at brenbreuer@hotmail.com or to go to www.raincityrescue.com (choose foster a dog/adopt tab) to find an online application to make this super special dude YOURS! Wilson's adoption fee is $400. Don’t miss out on this gorgeous southern gentleman who you can meet right away!
