Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there. My name is Connie. I am about 8 months old and I weigh about 35 lbs. Our mom was a Pug/ beagle mix, dad is unknown.
My brother Conrad and I were surrendered to the pound by our owner. Our owner is trying to do what is best for us dogs by letting us find new homes because they have too many dogs and they're unable to properly care for all of them or give us enough attention.
We have been kept outside in a kennel, so we have a bit to learn about living inside. We are a bit nervous indoors still, but will surely adjust in no time at all.
Of course, like any other dogs, we will require lots of love and patience as we learn house training and adjust to life indoors.
We do still need some work on leash training, but we are doing pretty well already.
We get along well with other dogs. It takes us a moment to get warmed up to new people, but once we do, we are very sweet.
If you're looking to add a new dog to your family, please consider adopting me.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER AUGUST 8, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
