Onyxx is Adopted
Onyxx is currently being fostered in Logan Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $250
Onyxx is a beautiful 4 yr old, all black male cocker spaniel. he came into our rescue from a shelter in central Ohio, where he was found as a stray, so we do not have any history on him. He has an old ACL injury that is not affecting him at this time, so no surgery is recommended. He gets a slight limp from it if he overdoes it, however he is self limiting, and does very well. He runs and plays like any other dog, and it does not slow him down!!
Onyxx is a lover boy, he loves to be with his person, and is a Velcro cocker, always following his person. He is currently fostered with other dogs, but tends to get a little jealous, and prefers to get all of the attention, he would really do best as an only dog.
He is a cuddler and a couch potato, he loves to be affectionate, and is a loyal dog to his person.
We have observed him with small children, and he does not do well with them, so an adult only home is required.
Onyxx is really a great dog for the right person, he is house trained, and is a good, obedient listener, he doesn't bark much, and is good around cats. He is house trained in general, however has an occasional accident inside, and needs consistency. He likes to play with his toys, and fetch a ball, or just hang around. This boy is such a great dog to have as a companion, and will melt your heart!!
Onyxx is neutered,up to date on vaccines,and heartworm negative.

In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
