Pippa's Story...
Hi! I'm Pippa and I was rescued by Animal Rescue Corps from a dog fighting ring, where i was chained up and used for breeding. I was heartworm positive and used to be very timid. Now I'm healthy and learning to be a happy, healthy girl!! I love other dogs. I have five other dogs to play with at my foster home. I'm still learning to trust people and I'm shy meeting new people. Once I trust you I enjoy spending time with you and learning new things. #AdoptJaxPets

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippa, a Jacksonville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
