Peanut's Story...
My name is Peanut and I’m a 6 year old female tortie-type cat. I was given up by my owners because of a divorce. If you live in an apartment, I’d do best as an only because I like my space. I am very friendly and lovable and enjoy being loved and petted. I had lived with two other cats but, in that apartment, there were times that they annoyed me. I’m a typical tortie, liking my way and all the attention. However, if you live in a larger home and have other cats, I may be okay if properly introduced and there is more room for all of us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Medford Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Medford, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
