Hi I'm Charlie! I'm a 5-6 year old male chihuahua. I'm a little guy at about 6 lbs.
Don't let my small size fool you though, I can be a tough little guy.
I would do BEST in a home with no kids and a female who has patience to continue working with me. I would need a chihuahua experienced person. I still am having some marking problems and like to sneak in to my human brother's bedroom sometimes to potty too. My foster mom makes me wear this silly band around my waist hoping to train me out of these bad habits. Hey, it's not my fault my previous owner never taught me I should only go outside. I am trying though.
I would not be a companion for a household with kids. They make me nervous and I can nip. I don't like to be grabbed. I was terrified of men when my foster mom first took me in but I have warmed up to a few. If they are calmer I do best with that. I do like a quieter household.
I get along well with my furry foster friends who live in the house and love to play with them but I haven't liked many other pets I have met outside of the home. I may be best as a single dog in the house or with a furry friend who isn't super active or dominant. I think I'm the man of the house.
I am a pretty sweet cuddly guy for the right person. I love cuddling up on my foster mom's lap and curling up under the blanket. I could sleep all day. I love giving kisses ! Once I start kissing your face I don't want to stop.
I'm a good watch dog as I like to look outside and bark at anyone passing. I would not be good in an apartment/condo like setting.
I love sitting outside in the sun and relaxing but I do need a close eye on me as I will sneak through small areas and take myself on a stroll.
