Hi there. My name is Daisy Mae. I am about 2 years old and I weigh about 20 lbs.
I was found as a stray in Beaver Creek State Park along with my son Dallas and our friend Dexter, after we were apparently dumped out. It was pouring down rain when we were found. We were huddled up together underneath of a picnic table shaking and terrified.
My son let them catch him immediately but Dexter and I were more timid and ran from them the first day.
The park officer was able to catch Dexter the next morning. When the guy from the pound went back down, he was able to use Dexter to lure me in close enough to catch me.
Now that I am back here at the pound, I am a very sweet little girl. I can be a little shy at first but I warm right up.
I get along well with other dogs. I love to curl up next to other dogs to sleep.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER AUGUST 14, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
