My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES!

If you are seeing this dog on this site he is available so there is no need to email us checking for availability. Instructions for how to proceed with a meet and greet are provided below. Please read the profile in it's entirety!

Meet sweet Lacey, born on June 12, and about 15 pounds as of 8/13! She is very sweet, and lovable. She is outgoing and loves people. She loves to play outside with her brother Toby. Lacey is being fostered in a home in Oswego, IL around other dogs, cats and children, all of whom she is fabulous with. Mom was a full blooded Black Lab, and dad was a German Shepherd mix who jumped the fence.

In the picture of the two pups, Lacy is on the right and her brother Toby is on the Left. Toby is also available for adoption.

Please note: If you are gone all day, a puppy is not the right match for you. You can't leave a puppy home alone in a crate all day while you are at work, it's not good for their socialization, and they simply can't hold it that long.

If you think this pup would fit perfectly into your family, please fill out our Adoption application which can be found on our website at www.angelsonwheels.org. An approved adoption application is required prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: The spaying which will be done when she is old enough (given his current age he is too young to be fixed at this time), but paid for by Angels on wheels. microchip, up-to-date on routine vaccination for distemper-adenovirus-parainfluenze-parvo, rabies vaccinated if over 4 months, dewormed with panacur, treated with revolution or front line plus, leash and collar, and any other medical needs.

You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free health exam. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
