My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at cute little Clever!! Cute as a button and sweet as can be. Clever weighs about 15 pounds and is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative and is between 8-10 years old. Don't let her age fool you, this dog acts like she's 4. She can still go on walks and is an active girl with many years left.

Clever is housebroken, uses a doggy door if one is available, sleeps in a crate at night, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands. She is as clever as her name. She LOOOOOVES attention and to get petted and sit on your lap, but she is sometimes intolerant of hugs. Because of this she probably should not live with young children who won't be respectful with her. She has been very good with gentle children and even seeks out their attention and wants to jump up to say hello. She currently has a haircut but her hair is long and silky when it grows out and she will need daily brushing or visits to the groomer. It is more like a Shih Tzu's coat than a Westie's.
