Jadite's Story...
"Hi! My name is Jadite, named because of my beautiful jade-green eyes. I have a tall, sleek physique, a very sweet personality, and I simply love to be petted. I'm still young, about a year and a half, and the world is still a curious, playful place for me. The wonderful people at Save the Cats Arizona tell me I'm a good boy and I don't get into trouble because I seem to get along with everyone - people, other cats, maybe even dogs? Yep. I aim to please. They also say that I've been neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV (whatever all that is). I really would like a home of my own. Would you consider giving me one?"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jadite, a Gilbert Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
