My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, My name is Freckles and I am a 8 yr.-old 9-pound male. I'm kind of tiny but my foster mom says I have a big heart. I get A LOT of attention because my tongue sticks out of my mouth! This is because I don’t have any teeth, so my smile ALWAYS make people smile, even if they aren’t "dog people"

I do enjoy eating-- you would be surprised what a little dog with no teeth can gum.

Now that I know what a good life is I realize I had it kind of rough starting out. I wasn’t abused, I just didn’t get the love and attention my foster parents say I deserved. But I’m making up for all that now!

I’m progressing well at making potty outside. I’m working on walking on a leash. I just don’t understand why they don’t just pick me up and carry me. I’m light enough…silly humans…

What I enjoy most is BEING HELD. I go to my "happy place" when I'm in someone's arms.
