Here's what the humans have to say about me:
These 2 little peanuts were left behind abandoned in an apartment when their original owner moved away. They were taken in by a neighbor but soon were once again homeless when the landlord found out and banished them. Babette & Nugget are now in foster care with us and we are hoping to find them a home where they can stay together. They are pretty bonded and look for each other when faced with new situations. These two are the ultimate lap dogs but you will need a really big lap - when one jumps up to cuddle, the other is sure to follow right behind. They are very cute and have shown no aggression, however, Babette tends to get growly when you invade her personal space (but she has never went so far as to bite or even nip). They are full of love and kisses and listen very well when directed to go into their crate. They can be a bit on the noisy (barky) side when left alone so they aren't a good choice for apartment living.
Babette is not quite 3 years old and looks more like a Lhasa female. She weighs 15 pounds and has pretty salt & pepper coloring. She is the shy one of the duo and is a lot more mellow than her mate. She appears to be around 2 years old. Nugget is a little more outgoing than his "sister". He still had some baby teeth when he was neutered so we are guessing him to be just under a year old. He weighs in at 10 pounds but he is pretty bony and can stand a few hearty meals. Nugget has more of a Shih Tzu appearance and when he looks up at you with those big eyes, you just want to melt. Both dogs have now been spayed & neutered and were brought up to date with their shots. They will be microchipped prior to adoption. There is an adoption fee if you decide to take one of our "All Star Pets" home. We prefer homes within a 50 mile radius of Linden, NJ.
