Caterina's Story...
Hi, I’m Caterina! I am a beautiful, long haired female that is UTD on vaccines and spayed. I am incredibly motherly and not only took very good care of my own kittens, but a couple of other kittens who didn’t have a mom. I still have a very maternal instinct and look after the young ones in the house. I am very sweet and would love to sleep in the bed with you if you allow it. If you’d like to make me a part of your home, please contact Courtney at courtney@savinggraceanimalrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caterina, a Birmingham Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Birmingham, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Birmingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Birmingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Birmingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Birmingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
