Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Irene and Fern are mother and daughter. It would be lovely if they were adopted together but we believe that they will do ok separated, too. They came with Abraham who was Fern's son but has been adopted and is doing very well in his new home. This little family came into rescue when their elderly owner passed away. We were told by the family that Fern is 3 years old and Irene is 1 1/2 years old. Irene is a black and white smooth coat chihuahua and weighs just over 8 pounds. All three of these kids were timid when they arrived in rescue but Irene was the first one to venture forth for pets and social time with us. She apparently had some sort of eye injury at one time because her right eyeball appears to be blue with a wonky looking iris and surely she is blind in that eye but she doesn't care! Irene is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 with all vet work done.
