Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE 08-02-14 An Animal Control Officer brought Linwood to the Shelter as a stray. Linwood seems to be mostly Hound, but might have a little Setter mixed in as he has thicker fur and his tail has some feathering. He's a handsome guy with a great personality. He walks pretty well on a leash and loves to have a good roll in the grass. Like most Hounds, Linwood is very tolerant which makes him a great kid dog. The tail pulling, ear tugging doesn't bother him. He even seems to be okay with cats. We took him in the cat room and he paid no attention to any of the cats; then we took a teenage kitten out and he still only sniffed, then the kitten laid his paw on Linwood's nose and he just sat there with no reaction, so we're thinking he might be okay with cats.
Linwood has also shared an outside play pen with another dog here at the Shelter, so might do okay with another canine resident. Of course, it's always a good idea to bring your dog to the Shelter for the two to meet. He tested negative for heart worms, his shots have been updated and his adoption fee includes neutering at our contracted clinic. So come to the Shelter and meet sweet Linwood - he might be the one.
