Profile: Lady was brought home to a loving family that includes 5 children ranging in age from 1 to 10 years old. She could see as a small puppy but slowly began to lose her sight. Their vet could not find anything wrong with her to be causing the failing vision. Lady didn’t miss a beat and continue her routine with her family. She loves to swim in her little pool and play with squeaky toys. One of her favorite things are belly rubs which the kids love giving her. Lady’s family love her but want her to have a safer home to live in. They are gone very long hours and the backyard is not the safest place for her. They do not have the means for dog walker or day care and are hoping that Lady can find a home with someone around most of the time for her. She is great with dogs and kids and you can hardly tell she is blind…until she bumps into things while in the back yard. Her natural tail wags non-stop. She would do great with another dog as her eyes or on her own surrounded by loving people. Lady sees with her heart.
