Jemma's Story...
Hi! My name is Jemma. I am crate trained and I can walk on a leash pretty well. I am very attentive to my master and I want to please. I am a good listener and quick learner and I am eager to learn new things. I love other dogs and children, are the best!

Jemma and her sister, Jewel, were saved by a young man when their mom was hit by a car and killed. Then luck would have it that this same person got in trouble with the law. In steps Grandma to save the day. She was committed to these two little girls and refused to turn them in to a shelter.

Fortunately, we were able to find a foster for both of them. Jemma is certainly ready to bless your home with her laid back personality. Contact us to find out how - treatemrightrescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jemma, a Houston American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
