My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SNAP! ...the sound of the trap before we met Derby...

Derby was caught while TNRing. He was so hungry he walked through a colony of cats right into the trap. He was never scared and after eating he was rubbing up against the trap.

In a controlled setting, we took him out and he immediately crawled into out lap, purred, and began kneading. Derby was no feral cat :( While we believe he did belong to someone at one point, he was very skinny and dirty, he had clearly been on his own for quite some time.

Derby loves to play, loves to be held, and adapts very quickly to new situations. He is the true definition of a lap cat. If your lap is available he will find it. He loves to cuddle and sleep with people, Derby is cat who truly loves people.
