Trucker's Story...
Trucker is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 3-21-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this Month, Trucker is still at the shelter in need of rescue.

This handsome young man is around 7 years old, is Small in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be a very sweet & loving boy, playful, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, appears to get along with other dogs, likes being in your lap and is a special dog that is in need of a family to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Trucker's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Trucker appeared to past the test with no problems. VERY CUTE FLUFFY BOY Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Trucker to play and be safe in. We feel he may make a very fun loving family member and outstanding companion. If you wish, Trucker can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Trucker. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trucker, a Grass Valley Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
