Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Stella knew what house to come to when she needed help. This young girl showed up on the front porch of our wellness vet. He called us stating she needed a rescue and surgery. Her prior owners used terrible judgement on how to dock a dogs tail. They tightly placed a rubber band around her tail until it ultimately broke the cartilage and choked off the blood flow into her tail. She was in pain and could have ended up with a terrible infection. We immediately transported Ms Stella to the vet hospital where she underwent surgery. Stella now sports a bare bottom! Tailless certainly doesn't stop her wiggle butt.
Stella is hoping you won't hold it against her for not having a tail. . . . if you would like her to join your family please go to providingforpaws.org and complete an adoption application. Her adoption fee is only $250, she will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped.
