Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack is a handsome 2 year old, Australian Shepherd mix with beautiful markings that needs a new home. He is a happy, active, lovable (outside) dog that just wants to be close. He shows little interest in treats and will not take them from your hand. He does demonstrate knowledge of “come”, “sit”, “down” and “off” commands. Jack does greet you with an enthusiastic jump-up/hug, but that seems easily corrected. Reportedly, he is good with cats and wonderful with kids. (Jack did not react to a cat that had come into his enclosure.) He MAY be protective of his food around other animals. His owner also reports that he may “nip”, but does not bite. While a rescue person visited him, he “mouthed” her hand (to get her attention to play) but did not grab at it. Jack is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will soon be ready for his new home and new beginnings. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
