My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUMMER’S HISTORY: Summer’s mother came to us from a shelter as she was pregnant and very ill with a respiratory infection. Her mother was hospitalized and an emergency C-Section was done. Summer was the only living pup. Her mother was too ill to care for her so Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego offered to incorporate Summer with a Chihuahua mom who had just given birth to 2 puppies. The Chihuahua mom, immediately accepted Summer and began licking and cleaning her when she was 6 hrs old. Summer remained with her foster Chihuahua mom and pups until weaned. She enjoyed the companionship of two puppies her age. Summer received lots of cuddling from the foster family.

Summer is very sweet puppy and loves to be held and cuddled in your arms. She is very calm when held for a puppy her age. She is already pap trained. Summer enjoys other small, calm dogs.
