Cabernet is a beautiful little calico kitty. She's unique in that instead of a pink nose, like most calicos, she has a dark nose - very distinctive. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she soon warms up and is a loving and sweet purr-box. She enjoys playing with the others in her rescue room, but is also able to entertain herself with her kitten toys. Because she's so accustomed to having a 'large' family, she would be very happy sharing a home with another kitty, especially one of her litter mates.
Cabernet and her litter mates - Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, and Champagne - were born outdoors in very late April, 2014. A woman who was feeding their mom, Tabitha, and the babies was concerned for their safety. So they came into my rescue in early June, 2014. The kittens are all weaned now and ready for fur-ever homes. While they enjoy their rescue room and playing with the many other cats and kittens there, it's just not a real home.
Cabernet is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, and feline leukemia/FIV negative. If you'd like to meet Cabernet, and/or her sisters (who are all calicos) please contact Eloise, 570-428-2179 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Cabernet is waiting patiently for that call from her fur-ever family.
