My name is Wally and I did have a family once upon a time but due to some really bad turns that life can take sometimes I found myself looking for a home, the kind volunteers at CAA Rescue agreed to help me into foster care where I am today while I wait for my forever family
I am a little shy at first so please if you come meet me understand that it is not that I don’t like you I am just nervous with new people and places – I guess my last family never really took me anywhere and never introduced me around. Just watch me with my foster daddy and you will see how much love I have to give once I learn to trust!!
I am a very vocal guy – I talk a lot not barking but I am always yapping on or yawning about something which is pretty funny at first but some people can be put off by it… based on all my jibber jabber I would probably be best in a home and not apartment, I would not want to get anyone in trouble and find myself looking for a home again!
I show zero signs of aggression with dogs or people I have not been around cats so have no idea how I would react but seeing how I am just a big goof ball I don’t think there would be any problems but we would really have to meet to be sure
I am clean in the home and have no destructive behaviors so far but my foster family has not left me alone for an extended period of time yet so we will have to wait and see what happens when that time comes. I love to be around people so someone who is home often would really make me happy!
While I am nice I ask that only serious people write in, someone who has had experience with the Great Dane or large breed dogs before. I am extremely gorgeous, even if I do say so myself!, I am a big boy and quite heartbroken about losing my family. My next home has to be established and stable and want to have me forever … through thick and thin I will always be your best friend, I will think about nothing else but you so all I ask is that when times get tough, because they always inevitable do, that we stick together and that you do not abandon me. I cannot go through this heartbreak again!
I am reliable, courageous (when I am not being a shy scaredy puss, hiding behind you) but above all I am loyal and I am loving, I am gentle and I am kind – I am looking for my best friend for the rest of my days.
