Brooklyn's Story...
Brooklyn is an adorable little shepherd mix who was found as a stray. She is around eight months old (as of August 2014). Brooklyn gets along well with children and cats; however, she is slow to warm up to other dogs. She must be properly introduced and supervised.

Brooklyn loves people and enjoys playing as well. Being that she is still a puppy, she excited easily and often. Her foster family is working with her on crate, leash and command signs, but her forever family should realize that continued training will be required.

She is a people pleaser and is thus easy to train. She enjoys children very much, but she must be supervised with younger children, as she does jump sometimes when she is excited.

Brooklyn would love to become a devoted loving member of your forever family!

Brooklyn was saved from the local county shelter thanks to an opening in our foster program. Please email us to find out more about fostering a pet in need.

Adoption Fee: $125, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, current heartworm & flea prevention, & spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooklyn, a Clarksville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
