Meet Todd, a lucky guy who found his way into ESRA. After many years of rural living, Todd has adjusted well to his new life in town. Not only is he a good-looking boy, he is also smart, and he listens well. Todd shows great patience while he is waiting to pounce on the backyard squirrels! Then, after all that chasing, he is happy to snuggle up next to you on the couch for a snooze.
Todd craves attention and is constantly wagging his tail, seeking affection. He is friendly with other dogs he meets, but he does prefer to have all the attention of his family for himself. Therefore, Todd would be best suited as the only dog in the household. He is good with older, dog-savvy children. He has great energy, and he loves to run! He lives to explore and smell his surroundings, and of course to chase squirrels, rabbits, and chipmunks.
Todd is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with all his vetting. Besides a loving and caring Forever Family, the only things Todd needs are squeaky toys and tasty treats. He would greatly benefit from continuing his training with his new people, and this should not be difficult because he is quite motivated by treats.
Would your family and your home make Todd happy? Can you offer him lots of love and attention, room to run, and a comfortable lifestyle? Todd is waiting patiently to find his Forever Home and to be the wonderful companion he was born to be.
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Todd.
