My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samson is a gentle giant in every sense of the word. He has won the hearts of our volunteers in a very short period of time, and his winning streak continues!
Samson came to us with aching knees which we immediately got treatment for. Even though we knew he must have been in pain, he was always so happy to greet our volunteers. Samson quickly moved to foster care to receive a little more TLC. We have learned that our first impressions of him are indeed true in a household as well. Samson has been a perfect gentleman inside the home. He is very calm and has proved to be trustworthy when left alone.
His foster parents rave about what a sweet boy he is. He is the type of dog who demands nothing, but is so very grateful for your attention and love. He quietly waits for his parents to wake up, and then greets them with a big smile – what a way to start the day!

Samson is also a HUGE snuggler and loves to give gentle kisses. While on outings, Samson has been very gentle with children of all sizes, as long as they don’t mind a smooch or two. He has also been compatible with other dogs. I don’t think there is anyone he would not befriend!

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this boy is getting a huge (furry!) blessing. Samson is a very “easy” dog, perfect for a first time dog parent. Great leash manners, potty trained, loves car rides, amazing temperament, devastatingly handsome..what more could you ask for?? Words do not adequately express what a gem of a dog he is.
