Julian's Story...
Name: Julian
Color: Brown and White Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 3 Months
This wonderful boy is Julian and he is looking for his loving forever home. Cats can live to be 15-20 years of age so he is really looking for someone who is in it for the long haul.
Big fan of: Love! He was surrendered to the shelter along with over 50 other cats so has not had the best start in life. Julian is looking for a patient family who will shower him with individualized love and affection. Like most kittens, Julian is going to need tons of toys, love, and stimulation to be happy. Julian is shy at first but quickly warms up when given lots of love.
Dream Home: Julian would love to go to a home with one of his siblings or to a home with an adult cat who can show him the ropes. He would do fine in a home with a cat-savvy dog that knows better than to chase him. Julian would do great with kids old enough to play gently with his little body.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julian, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
