Say hello to Charlene, we saved her the night before she was scheduled to be euthanized for space in a GA shelter. Charlene is a lovable girl who wants nothing more than the love of a family and to return the favor. She is great with other dogs and people and needs a forever home. Charlene is now being locally fostered in the Boston area. Here are comments from her foster Dad: Charlene loves to play, cuddle and chew toys & marrow bones. She loves riding in the car, and hates getting bathed. A very polite eater and not food aggressive. Gets along well with people and dogs. Needs some leash training, but isn't too bad. If she gets over excited she can get mouthy. She is house traIned as long as she gets out regularly. If you're interested in fostering or adopting, please fill out an application online at www.survivortails.org.
Please note: We can only foster or adopt in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.ampshire.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlene, a Boston Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Boston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
