My name is Christa. I am an SPK (shelter pull kitty), This means that when you adopt me, FOF can save another kitty from a high kill county shelter. I am still very young having been born around June 2012. My 4 boys were ALL adopted over the weekend. Good riddance. Oops. I mean I love them dearly but it was time for them to spread their wings. With a mommy of the human variety. And someplace other than my head while I sleep. They kept me awake almost 24/7 while they nursed, then they continued to pester me at the county shelter we were dropped at. Once we all arrived here at FOF, I was given some reprieve from their constant antics. We were separated in order to medicate and I thought I had paid my dues. The vet removed my lady parts as I requested, and the boys seemed ok without me.
However then I was once again thrust into a cohabitation with them. The people here said we could have our own room, which was way better than a cage. I had my doubts. But they wouldn't hear of it. Now this is the best part. When my 4 boys were all chosen for adoption, I had the room to myself. And then....I played with a toy. Yep. Me. The always vigilant mother could now be carefree. I was lonely though, so I got moved up to the fancy pants room aka the adult cat suite. Here I will stay until someone chooses me. Thanks for reading!~Christa
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE WE HAVE A NEW LARGER ADOPTION CENTER!! YOU CAN NOW FIND US AT 7962 CLYDE PARK SW, BYRON CENTER MI 49315.'Starting in August all open adoption hours will be held at this location. We will also hold a GRAND OPENING EVENT on AUGUST 17 from 11-5PM. Come on out to take a tour, play with some kitties, and see what all our hard work has done. As a celebration of our new location all cats and kitties will be $50 for the month of August. (Of course you are welcome to donate a bit more to help fund our new facility which will help save more and more animals every year)

CLICK HERE to fill out an Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $85 for one kitten and $125 for two. For cats over 1 year we have a donation based adoption fee. ($50 minimum) Donate what you can to us and then use your savings to go buy all your fun kitty supplies.
All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.
Our adoption center is located at 7962 Clyde Park SW Byron Center. Our open adoption hours are every Thursday 6-8pm and Sunday from 12-2pm. Come on out and meet the love of your life!'Our adoption facility only houses so many kitties. The rest are in foster homes.
