Lilly's Story...
Meet Lilly. She's a 66#, 4-1/2 year old Old English Bulldog. She's current with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and hw negative. Lilly is a friendly, happy, playful girl who loves everyone. She knows basic obedience commands and is housebroken. She's allowed free run of the house with no problems. She's good with all dogs, but we don't know about cats. Lilly is happiest when hanging out with you and letting you pet her as long as she wants you to. Are you looking for a new best friend like Lilly?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Baton Rouge English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
