Wow, wait until you meet marvelous little Mackensie! This prettiest mix of Boxer and lab was living with crappy people in north Georgia when they let her get hit by a car. Animal control wanted to shoot her on the side of the road (it is Georgia!) but her saviors were neighbors who grabbed her up and took her to our vet where we met her! Dr. Dan took her leg (she knows no difference!) and then the RAIN girls began fostering and took her in. Now this sweetest and happiest of lucky dogs is is foster care Seattle awaiting her forever family. Mackensie was a bit shy when we brought her home. She's still takes awhile to come out of her shell with other dogs and people too, but is very loving and friendly! She has the cutest one blue eye and one brown eye and floppiest, silliest ears! She needs a patient, moderately active home who will allow her the time to chill and settle in and feel comfortable before expecting her to take long walks or meet alot of people. She LOVES to play with her foster roommates and can run and jump with the best of them! It's her back leg so she gets around very well as she only uses it for balance. She still loves to be outside and loves to go for walks. It won't take long before she will be ready to be your Washington adventure partner, accompany you on trips to the beach (oh yeah!!) the mountains (you betcha!!) and the dog park.. all things she's never done before! Beautiful 1.5-2 year old Mackensie weighs about 55 lbs and she's a good size for all these things. Very self-sufficient, she only needs your help every once in a while to give her a leg- up maybe! Mackensie is a love bug, a big cuddler who will sit with you forever! She enjoys movies (! ) baths and crate time too. Mackensie is house trained, great with little dogs and puppies as well and loves car rides. She will be the hit of the neighborhood and will be the disabled dog poster child as she does almost everything every other pup can do! This sweetest and nicest girl is calm and quiet and will be a joy to have around. Mackensie is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She had no problem with her foster mom in Georgia's cats, horses and even pet pig!
