Zorro's Story...
Zorro was found wondering the streets, abandoned :( He is so very sweet and trusting. He has the most unusual eyes - the center around the iris is green, while the outward rim is hazel. He is also not entirely black. There are faint brownish stripes on his tail and body and a brownish M on this forehead. I have rescued many animals and have never seen a black cat with such unusual coloring. He is mostly black though. This beautiful boy is about 5-6 months old. He is extremely sweet and sociable, he always seeks out company and will jump up to rub his face on your hands when you are standing up and not paying attention to him. He is cool with everyone, he will love up on anyone available and on other cats in a pinch :) He is always ready to play and chase things - he is an endless source of entertainment. Zorro is UTD on shots, dewormed, treated for fleas and neutered

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zorro, a Sanford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
