Wally's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Wally's Story...
This little man (30 lbs) found himself as a stray at our local animal control. He appears to be about 1 year old and it a bit underweight and scruffy, never fear, a handsome devil is hiding in there!
Wally is quiet and laid back, a bit timid at first but warms up quickly. He prefers female canine companionship and seems gentle and calm around children, a bit over interested in the cat but will be cat tested at a later date.
Wally is learning about a leash and is crate training nicely.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wally, a Monterey Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Monterey, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Monterey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monterey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monterey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monterey paves the way for another one to be saved.
