Jack's Story...
Jack's owner moved and the sister is working with our rescue to rehome Jack. He is a purebred Jack Russell, good with small dogs and people. Jack was originally rescued from the Grass Valley, CA animal shelter for a lady's brother who wasn't responsible sadly and he left for HI after only having the dog 8 months. Now the sister is asking our rescue to help him rehoming Jack. He was tested with a male shih tzu and did fine. He has a slight limp in one rear leg that is hardly noticeable. Vet estimates him between 2-5 years of age. He's active but is housetrained, neutered and up to date on shots. Dog is located in Lomita, CA Adoption process applies and donation of $150 to qualified adopter. Jack comes with a brand new, only used once, sherpa soft sided carrying case. Jack is in Torrance, CA LA County.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Lomita Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
