Honey's Story...
Hi! My name is Honey and I'm a sweet friendly girl who was adopted from a local kill shelter by a great family. However, I didn't get along with their cats so I ended up with a rescue instead. I am young, maybe 11 months old. The shelter listed me as a pit mix but I don't have a big head like one. Unfortunately it's on my paperwork though and I'm a mixed breed so there's no guarantee as to what I really am. All I know is that people keep saying I'm soooo pretty. I'm only around 30-35 pounds full grown so I'm a perfect medium sized girl.

I am very loving and GREAT with other dogs. Like I said though, no kitties please! I would likely be fine in a home with children.

I love chew toys and bones. I love to chase my tail and play with menacing trees in the yard (I can jump and hang from the lower branches! I'm definitely entertaining and athletic).

If you are interested in meeting me and potentially adopting me, please contact the rescue. :) My adoption fee is $75 and I come spayed, vaccinated (including rabies), de-flead, de-wormed, and heart worm tested (I am negative.) Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Groveland Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Groveland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Groveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
