My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bammer aka Peanut

Age: 4 Yrs; Weight: 21 lbs; Good with dogs: Yes; Good with cats: Yes; Good with children: Yes; House trained: Yes; Crate trained: Yes; Adoption Fee: $350.00; Special Needs: None.

Peanut is a sweet, 4 year old boy who loves everyone. He gets along well with dogs and cats alike. But he really loves his people. He takes any opportunity to snuggle up next to his foster Mom and foster Dad.

He walks well on his leash. He is house trained and crate trained. He is a quiet boy who loves to greet you with his shoulders down and his rear in the air. He’s just SO happy you're back – even if you’ve only been gone for 10 minutes.

Peanut has not been in foster care long and while he has been here, he has had surgery to be neutered and he is now undergoing treatment for heartworm. We have had to keep him quiet during this time, so we have not had the opportunity to see his real personality. However, all indications are that he will only become more lovable than he already is.

Peanut will not be ready for adoption until his heartworm treatment is completed. This means that he cannot move on to his forever home until the end of September. Don’t let that deter you though. He is now accepting and reviewing applications for his “forever” home. Of course, his foster parents are helping him.

So, if you think that Peanut is “just the right guy” for you, please fill out an adoption application. You won’t be sorry you did.
