My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(ID #657) Hi, my name is Mario.

I am an one year old Pit Bull mix. I was brought to the shelter by my owner. They could no longer care for me. They said I needed training but they wouldn't make the time to take me to training. I can't learn manners unless someone teaches me. I also don't like being left alone for very long.

At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.

I am a young fellow at heart and I weigh around 60 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. I have also been microchipped.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.

You can contact my friend, Lori by emailing laking@cinci.rr.com for more information on how I can become part of your family.

See you soon, MARIO.
