LoLa's Story...
Lola is a tabico ... Half Tabby and half Calico! She is laid back but loves to play.

You can meet and adopt this kitty from Petsmart in the Regency/Arlington area of Jacksonville. The store is located at 356 Monument Road and is open seven days a week. All cats at $20 to adopt, spay/neutered, microchipped, city licensed and in need of homes. Adoptions come with a coupon book full of $250 in savings including a free bag of food and a free vet exam at Banfield, the in-store vet. We do our best to keep our list up to date, but we cannot promise this cat will be there when you go. You can call the store at 904-724-4600. We do not hold cats for adoptions and the adoptions are first come, first served. We do have kittens at the store but they are adopted very quickly so we don't post them online. Please stop by the store and meet all our wonderful felines! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LoLa, a Jacksonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
