My name is Sassy and I am an adorable seasoned Australian Shepherd mix girl who is about 8-9 years old, weighs just 35 lbs and is sheer perfection. Can you imagine why someone would let me run loose and get picked up by Animal Control as a stray and never come looking for me? Well that is what happened and I have to say, I was a matted mess. I may be an older gal but I have lots of good life and love to give. My foster mom saw me and fell in love. She took me away just before my time was up and I would have been euthanized. She had me cleaned up and now I’m good-to-go. She worked hard with me to be crate trained and housetrained and now I know all the rules that are expected of me. I love to ride in the car and look out the window. Co-pilot in the car is my favorite job. I get along well with everyone else here, including the cats. I love to sit next to my foster mom and watch TV, and I love to sleep in the bed, but I do need my own pillow because otherwise, I will share yours. I go outside in a fenced yard and I am pretty good about not leaving my foster mom’s side when we go to the car. Won’t you please think about adopting me? I promise to love you forever.
