Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LUCKY is a 3 year old yellow male Lab who weighs 82 pounds. He's a "lucky" guy!!! He was turned in by his owner to the shelter in June. The shelter workers were in love with him and took really care of him but he wanted a furever family so he is glad we came along! He is so very sweet, gives great kisses, loves toys and is super playful. He pulls some on leash so we are working with the EZ walk. He is good with other dogs, a good rider and loves attention. He is keeping his run clean at the vet and did great with his bath. He shows a bit too much interest in the vet kitties so we are saying no to cats for now.. He's approved for kids aged 10+.
Update (9/19): Lucky is great with other dogs but he loves being with his humans, would love to have a yard so he can explore, crates well, very affectionate, will jump up to give you a big hug, quick learner so easy to train, easy to please, take treats very gently, would do well with a slow feeder bowl since he gobbles food, pulls on leash so harness recommended, house broken, knows sit and come. Note: Absolutely NO CATS and no exceptions!!
Update (9/10): Wanna get "Lucky"? Hi everyone! I'm Lucky. I just arrived at my foster home a little bit ago and have met my canine foster sisters. Everything has gone well. I've already gotten some treats because I went potty outside and I sat on command. I'm a great car rider and foster Mom is real excited about that. She told me on the way here that I am going with her to the AALD in Fairfax this Saturday! She told me that I could possibly find my forever family there. I have some more exploring to do so I will talk with you later. Love, Lucky
