Bailey's Story...
Hi my name is Bailey, I am a female corgi-mix. I about 6 years old. I get along great with other dogs, children, and other adults. I have a sweet disposition to let you know when I am hungry or if I need to go out. I am house trained. Although I have never really been in a crate, I do fine in a room with just a child gate. I love to go on walks and I would love to go on runs. The dog park is one of my favorite places to go.
I came to my foster parents as heartworm positive. My fosters gladly treated me and now I have been testing negative ever since. I have been passed around from person to person and all I really want is a forever home to love me always. Would you like to help me?

Bailey is up to date on all of her vaccinations and is spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Schertz Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
