My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you like big dogs, get off the porch and run with Lucy! Lucy is a 2 year old St. Bernard mix that's a social butterfly and loves everyone she meets. She was recently adopted and returned because the other dog in the family was terrified of her. The owner stated that Lucy didn't understand the other dog's boundaries. She would corner the other dog and not heed warning growls or lunging. Lucy was not aggressive, she just wanted to play. She was not at all destructive in the home and got used to owners leaving for short periods. This big girl is very good in the car and likes to hang her head out the window. Owner suggests she would be best suited for a home where she is the only animal. This affectionate gal would also do best in a home where someone is home a lot of the time. She doesn't like to be left alone and has never been around young children. Look for Lucy in the big adoption room...the kennels at Friendship are a little too small for her.

If you have kids and are interested in adopting Lucy please bring them with you for a meet and greet.
